Cornice Desk

Taking a classic design and translating it to a more contemporary style, this piece was inspired by a slab of wood in my shop. This beautiful slab had a natural curve and a slight widening on one end where the tree had begun to branch out. This larger end was the logical place for a file cabinet below. The curved faces of the drawers reflect the curve of the slab top. This desk is available with or without the leg detail of the legs piercing through the desk surface.
